About Liverpool Science Park

Liverpool Science Park (LSP) has been operational since January 2006 and is currently home to over 75 companies.  Our companies are drawn from a variety of knowledge intensive sectors including graduate start ups, key commercial facing R&D facilities and a handful of relevant business support companies.

LSP owns and manages two buildings, including the newly built and recently built extension to Innovation Centre 1 (ic1).  LSP’s facilities are open 24/7 and offer Grade A, air conditioned accommodation as standard, as well as modern commercial laboratories and fit-for-purpose write-up space.

LSP is a not for profit company owned by LJMU, UoL and Liverpool CC.  Active links between LSP companies and its two university owners are progressively deepening, and LSP’s location at the heart of both universities in Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter on the steps of the Metropolitan Cathedral, make it a logical home for the very best of the universities’ entrepreneurial talent and spin out companies.

LSP prides itself on the broad based nature of its tenant base and encourages collaboration between tenants, whether it is via social events, business breakfasts, its on site barista run café or indeed within the eight free meeting rooms, informal break out areas or communal break out room across the Park.

LSP is able to provide support to the smallest and youngest of companies, and has a unique, flexible leasing policy as well as a full range of suites ranging from one person offices upwards.  Equally, graduates from any institution can benefit from LSP’s graduate enterprise offer.
