SPARK Impact Limited manages The North West Fund for Biomedical. This is a £25m Fund to be invested by 2015. It is part of the overall North West Fund of £184.8m and the objective is to create an evergreen fund for reinvestment in the region beyond this period.
Funds were raised as part of the JEREMIE programme - a joint funding initiative between the European Commission and the European Investment Bank.
With the aim of attracting £200m of private sector co-investment, The North West Fund is expected to become a c£400m funding initiative for the region.
