How Do Event - Creative Business - Thursday 30 September 2010

How Do Event - Creative Business
Following last year's inaugural Liverpool Creative Business Forum, a high-end networking event for business owners and directors within the city's Creative, Media, Digital and Broadcasting sectors, this year's Forum will take place on the afternoon of Thursday 30 September at Liverpool Science Park. The Liverpool Forum is one of three such annual events along with other Forums in Manchester and Cheshire.

The Forum provides a valuable platform for discussion and debate around how best to successfully grow and develop businesses in these challenging times. Our three industry panellists - three highly respected creative industries leaders themselves - together with leading industry lawyer  Duncan Vaughan, will be able to offer and share with the attendees, some of their insight and expertise, mixed no doubt with a little humour.
As with our other Forums, there will be a presentation on the current state of the economy and its future prospects, examining the implications for the region's creative industries companies.

The event is supported by the leading creative industry law firm Shipley and Liverpool Science Park.

The event will start with the presentation on the economy, followed by four roundtable discussions with the following discussion points:  Intellectual Property/Legal, Strategy, Finance and Staff, Training & Development.
The afternoon will close with a Q&A session, with a chaired panel debate.
The outstanding panel we have brought together comprises
Ben Hatton - Managing Director of Rippleffect
Nick Howe - Managing Director of Uniform
Richard Kenyon - Managing Director of Kenyon Fraser
Duncan Vaughan, Senior Solicitor, Shipley Solicitors
