Liverpool to host green technology finance event
Help is at hand for green technology innovators trying to take their bright ideas to market.
Liverpool Science Park is hosting a free interactive event to help innovators get to grips with funding and the complex route to commercialisation.
'Raising Finance for Green Technology Ideas; Navigating a Path to Commercial Success', will take place at Liverpool Science Park from 8.30am - 10am on Tuesday June 29th, 2010.
A hand-picked panel of experts will be sharing their top tips for success and highlighting some of the exciting developments on the horizon.
The event will be hosted by BBC Radio Merseyside presenter Roger Phillips. Speakers include Mark Rahn, Investment Manager at Manchester-based MTI, Angharad Davies, Commercial Manager at the Energy Innovation Centre, Stuart Thompson, Managing Director of Cheshire-based EA Technology Ventures, and Caroline Riley, Senior Business Development manager, Low Carbon Demonstration, at Envirolink Northwest.
The event will focus on real entrepreneurial experiences and the funding options currently available, followed by a quick fire Q&A session.
'Raising Finance for Green Technology Ideas' is the first in a series of growth sector focused Knowledge Economy Business Breakfasts (KEBB) planned at Liverpool Science Park.
