Liverpool John Moores University would like to invite you to the School of Engineering, Technology and Maritimes Operations first 'Product Design Show' at 11am-3pm on Wednesday 4th May and Thursday 4th May. 

This event is open to the public.

This will be held at LJMU's new state of the art award winning 'Art & Design Academy'. Opened in 2009, it is an iconic building designed by the leading architect, Rick Mather. (Location is Duckinfield Street, Off Brownlow Hill, Liverpool, L3 5YD)

The 'Product Design Show' will display work from every year of its new range of BSc. Programmes, including the 2nd years' designs that have been developed as part of the 'Innovation Challenge' assessment.

The 'Innovation Challenge' consisted of workshops and lectures on many topics including: collaborative group work; knowledge mapping; creative thinking; customer led design and enterprise development.

They were complemented by daily visiting breakfast lectures from Ford, Design Reality, Human Recognition Systems, United Utilities and several other innovative organisations.

The event will be showcasing talent from the following programmes;

• BSc. (Hons) Product Innovation & Development
• BSc. (Hons) Computer Aided Design
• BSc. (Hons) Sustainable Design
• BSc. (Hons) Automotive Product Development
• BSc. (Hons) Sports Technology
