Mando Group in Liverpool has designed a rich internet application for the Office of Rail Regulation (ORR). The body is the independent safety and economic regulator for the UK's rail network.

The application has been built to support the ORR's human resources department and features a self-assessment tool for all rail inspectors and their managers so they can view competency levels against specific skills and knowledge areas.

"We have vast experience in building Rich Internet Applications allowing our customers to engage with both internal and external stakeholders. This application also builds on a number of projects we have developed for the Health & Safety Executive," explained Matt Johnson of Mando Group.

The digital agency was commissioned to work on the project earlier this year.
