Winning Pitch in profits boost - Monday 01 November 2010
Business growth coaching company Winning Pitch has reported a 48
per cent boost in turnover to £4.5m. The company, which has offices
in Liverpool, Manchester and Blackpool, says profits have also
risen 261 per cent to £310,000 for the year to 30 September.
The company delisted earlier this year due to its "costs and bureaucracy". It also said the listing added "little added value to our business model going forward".
Winning Pitch chief executive and founder John Leach said: "Given that we came off the market at the half-year, we felt there was a need to close the book on our financial performance statements."
The company said the sales rise was largely due to strong interest in the "high growth agenda" both from public and private sector clients.
The business says it has seen continued interest from large corporates that have a desire to be much more entrepreneurial. Leach added: "We expect that this will continue to grow."
