Flexibility is one of the reasons Liverpool Science Park is not like other science parks. Not only do our office, lab, and starter spaces have infinite flexibility to be exactly what you need the day you join to the day you need a bigger space but our agreements can be bespoke to each company as well.
Based right next to the Metropolitan Cathedral, affectionately known as Paddy’s Wig Wam to locals, and adjacent to the vibrant Hope Street make Liverpool Science Park centrally located for any thriving business. For those looking to come in by public transport, Liverpool’s Lime Street and Central Stations are just a ten minutes’ walk.
Living in the age of Big Data, connectivity is vital to success. Liverpool Science Park is connected to a primary fibre circuit, which has the capacity to accommodate speeds of up to 1 Gbps.
/Meeting Rooms and Conference Space
As a tenant, you get free access to our eight high-specification meeting rooms. They come as standard for all start-up space, office and lab tenancies. We also have dedicated collaboration and break out spaces for impromptu meeting.
We believe that companies thrive when they are surrounded by like-minded companies and individuals. We limit occupancy to knowledge-based companies from whichever sector, key elements of commercial facing university R&D and professional companies, which support these companies in their day to day work.
LSP has 47 parking spaces across its two buildings for rent by tenants, as well as 5 parking spaces for use by visitors to the Park. In addition, it benefits from being able to offer discounted annual season tickets at the City’s Mount Pleasant car park, just a four minutes’ walk away.
/Community and Well-Being
Feeling part of the LSP community and promoting tenant well-being is a core focus of the Park. With free bike racks and showers, our companies have access to multiple breakout spaces and break rooms. We arrange weekly onsite Yoga and Pilates classes, a local fruit and veg van as well as regular pop-up events from local independent companies and education institutes.
The involvement of the city’s two major universities in the ownership of LSP is essential. LSP looks for opportunities for tenant companies to participate in university-led business training, for undergraduates to find placements in tenant companies, for graduates to benefit from any vacancies arising in tenant companies.
