Farewell to George G!

After nearly three years at the Park, today we say farewell to Ops Support team member George G as he embarks on a new adventure as a Graduate Building Surveyor in London.

It’s a bitter-sweet day at the Park today as we say goodbye to our amazing colleague George G before he takes off to London to start his career as a Building Surveyor.

George started at the Park nearly three years ago, initially joining the team on a temporary basis before starting here full time at the end of 2016.  A native of North Wales, George first moved to the city in 2013 to study Building Surveying at LJMU. Since graduating, he has put his knowledge of the way building’s work to good use the Park, leading on a whole host of things from managing our dilapidations to mastering our Operating Manuals.

Outside of work, George is an incredibly skilled photographer and you can see his work all across the Park, not least on our website! (He even managed to find the time to photograph two of our team’s weddings!).

The next chapter in George’s career will take him to a Surveyors practice in central London where he will gain the RICS accreditation needed to become a fully-fledged BS. George’s positivity, work-ethic, and seemingly endless fountain of knowledge will ensure that he is greatly missed, not just by the LSP Team but by the Community as a whole. We are sure you’ll join us in wishing him the best of luck down in London and on the next stage in his journey!

Good luck George, don’t be a stranger!
