Established in 2010 by Anthony Chadwick (BVSC CertVD MRCVS), The Webinar Vet makes veterinary education easier, more accessible and affordable, by providing online CPD education for vets and nurses. The online training provider also runs virtual conferences and provides the veterinary industry community with digital resources and support.
Anthony Chadwick, Founder of The Webinar Vet, said:
“The past six months has been extremely busy for us and our online community has sky-rocketed.”
“Our team has grown continuously over the past few years, but we have recently hired across the board in response to this new demand, which has enabled us to diversify, explore new areas, and reach more people.”
The Webinar Vet Team has strengthened its resources across sales, operations, event management and website development.
Unlike many organisations during the pandemic, The Webinar Vet has not had to adapt to using new technologies, but instead shift to assisting others and expand their offering by delivering digital activity on behalf of industry bodies.
Their recent work with the British Veterinary Association has been particularly valuable and has led to the delivery of many online conferences and events over recent months.
Dawn Robinson, Sales Operations Manager at The Webinar Vet, added:
“The ongoing global crisis has quickened the adoption of digital technology in the conference space and we are proud to be the world leader for virtual congresses.”
Virtual congresses that have been run or that are due to take place shortly include; The 9th World Congress of Veterinary Dermatology, VPAP 48th Annual Scientific Conference, The BVDA Virtual Conference 2020 and The World Veterinary Association Congress.
The Webinar Vet have also viewed the recent crisis as an opportunity to give back to the veterinary community, by running mindfulness webinars and hosting a range of free resources on their website. They also took a lead in updating vets about the latest industry legislation and fought for their key worker status.
Although the vast majority of their activity is delivered online, The Webinar Vet team office is based at Liverpool Science Park (LSP). Having been founded in Liverpool, it was important for the business to have a city centre location and to be surrounded by other leading educational institutions and universities, which saw them make the move to LSP almost three years ago.
Having little time to mark their 10-year anniversary, which occurred in March this year, the Webinar Vet is now looking ahead to the next decade and is planning on nurturing their larger community, solidify their position and hopefully expand the business further.
